Bi-Value Cells

A Bi-Value Cell is any cell that has two and only two candidates. There are many inferences that can be made on bi-value cells and these cells form the basis of many of the chaining strategies.

The colored cells in the example in Figure 1 are all bi-value cells.

Any bi-value cell has a strong link or strong inference between the two candidates contained in that cell.
